Library > Fynbos of South Africa

"Fynbos" is the dominant ecotype on the Western Cape of South Africa. The awesomely beautiful Cape Floristic Region is the smallest and richest by size of the world's six "floral kingdoms" and is perhaps the most spectacular region on Earth for plants and flowers. These photographs are primarily from high in the Langeberg Mountains about six hours east of Cape Town. There are also images from Cape Point in Table Mountain National Park, south of Cape Town.
