The Willamette Valley is one of the most beautiful places on Earth! It's one of my favorite places. Unfortunately almost 100% of the valley has been sacrificed to human development. Towns, cities, and large farms have wiped out more than 95% of the wetlands and prairies. It would be fairly easy to start large scale restoration projects. There is just a lack of will.
